NATIONAL’S FLEET BENEFITS FROM NEW DEAL WITH VOLKSWAGEN
Award winning models join fleet
The UK’s leading car rental fleet is set to be enhanced further following a new deal between National Car Rental and Volkswagen UK.
The agreement sees the Polo, Golf, Jetta, Passat and Sharan join National’s growing fleet bringing customers an award winning choice of vehicles to meet their needs. And in a separate contract, National is growing its van fleet with the addition of LCVs from Volkswagen’s commercial fleet.
The Polo offers compact design, high quality and unbeatable safety whilst the ever-popular Golf remains a key feature of the National fleet, combining contemporary style with power and performance. Ideal for the business traveller wanting style and comfort, the Jetta is a classy addition to National’s range of saloons whilst the Sharan means customers need never sacrifice driving pleasure for space and comfort.
Tim Bailey, National Car Rental Vice President Fleet, says, “This contract with Volkswagen demonstrates our ongoing commitment to sustaining our industry leading fleet. The deal will see us adding many exciting models to our fleet, including the award winning Passat, WhatCar? family car of the year 2007.
