San Diego

Boasting 70 miles of coastline and the ideal climate in which to enjoy it, San Diego is situated in the south west corner of California where it shares its Mexican border with Tijuana to the south. But this is a city (and county) that has much more to offer tourists than a beach scene. National parks, mountains, lakes and rivers make up the county’s four and a half thousand square miles. It is served by no less than 13 State Routes, four Interstate freeways and 16 airports including San Diego International Airport, McClellan-Palomar Airport, Oceanside Municipal Airport and Ramona Airport. Must-see places of interest include the Ramona Valley wine region, the San Diego Wild Animal Park, SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo, Legoland California and the Alta Vista Gardens.
