Miami Beach

Miami Beach is a city in Miami-Dade County, Florida on a barrier island between Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic. Its Art Deco Historic District is listed and comprises the largest collection of art deco architecture in the world.

Made famous by the TV show Miami Vice and situated just a short transfer away from the airport is Miami’s South Beach. Hip and laid back, this area is characterized by its candy-coloured art deco hotels. It also boasts hundreds of bars, restaurants, clubs and quirky shops. Across the causeway challenging South Beach on the shopping front is the up and coming Design District for clothes, jewellery, furnishings and even art shopping.

Other must-see places to visit at Miami Beach include Ocean Drive, Lincoln Road, Versace Mansion and the Miami Beach Botanical Garden.
