JFKJohn F. Kennedy International Airport is the top international air passenger gateway to the US and hosts almost 100 airlines from over 50 countries with regular scheduled flights. It has eight passenger terminals (named 1-8) arranged in a U shape around its car parks and hotels. The airport’s busiest international route is to and from London Heathrow which carried 2.9 million passengers in 2004. JFK Airport is on the Van Wyck Expressway (I-678) in the south east of New York City. It is easily accessible by car from Belt Parkway, Grand Central Parkway and Queens Boulevard.
