Rochester

Lying to the south of Lake Ontario and east of Buffalo in Monroe County in the state of New York is the city of Rochester. Home of the “white hot” – a type of hot dog made by the resident Zweigels company, the “garbage plate”, Jolt Cola and frozen food manufacturer Birds Eye, Rochester has a number of large shopping centres including Eastview Mall, the Marketplace Mall, Village Gate Square and Pittsford Plaza.

Rochester is made up of a number of regions and is bisected by the Genesee River.
