Many airports impose a fee to off-airport rental vehicle transactions which applies if the customer exits the airport using the off-airport company's shuttle bus, or by utilising the on-airport facilities.

National collects this fee from our customers and remits the entire amount collected to the airport authorities.

The amount of the fee varies by airport. In some locations, it is a percentage of the rental charges, while in others it is a flat, fixed sum regardless of the amount of the rental charges.

If the National location of your current rental is within airport vicinity which imposes such a fee, and the shuttle bus is used to reach our rental station, this charge will appear as a separate item entitled "Arpt. Tax" in the pre-calculation of charges set forth in your Rental Agreement.

This fee may not be applied for some countries.
