There will be an additional charge of 4.00 EUR per day excl VAT per rental for each additional authorized driver. The general car rental conditions Enterprise rent a car NL - apply for all additional drivers.
When you return the car outside the opening hours of the rental location; you have to park the vehicle on an Enterprise-National assigned parking space in "Parking Centrum Oosterdok" (address: Oosterdoksstraat 150, 1011DK Amsterdam). Leave the parking ticket on the dashboard and lock the vehicle. Accordingly handover the car key to the Parking Manager. The Parking Manager's office is located at the entrance/exit of the parking facility.
All car groups are available for all renters aged 18 and over with the exception of car groups Full size, Premium and Luxury which are only available to 25 year old renters and above. Maximum Age 80 years.
Renter is allowed to use the Vehicle, without an additional charge, in the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Norway, Portugal (excluding Madeira), San Marino, Spain (excluding Canary Islands), Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Vatican.
If a Vehicle should be taken to Czech Republic, Croatia, Poland, Slovakia and/or Slovenia, Renter must obtain Supplier's prior written consent and a surcharge of 6.05 EUR per day inclusive of VAT applies. This option is only possible for vehicles in Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate and Standard category. For vehicles in Full size, Premium and Luxury categories it is not allowed.
Some restrictions may apply with respect to loading the vehicle on trains, boats, ferries or similar means of transportation and taking the vehicle from the mainland onto an island.
CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) Basic Cover. If chosen and indicated on the rental agreement or if included in the rate, this facility will limit the liability for any damage to the vehicle subject to the Non-Waivable Charge. NWC (Non-Waivable Charge): Fixed amount charged for every rental for which CDW has been taken out and where the vehicle is returned damaged. The amount of Non Waivable charge is EUR 900.00 for all car groups. CDW Basic Cover only covers the body of the vehicle and does not cover roof, tires, rims and windows, broken/loss of keys or contamination of fuel.
Damage to the under body-work and/or roof due to collision with bridges, tunnels, overhanging structures etc. is excluded from the damage cover, unless a force majeure can be proved.
All vehicles are delivered with a full tank of petrol and must be returned in the same condition. If the vehicle is returned with less than a full tank a charge of 2.75 EUR per liter excluding VAT for refueling service/fuel shortage will be applied.
Cross border policy- it is allowed to use the vehicle only in the following countries- Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Vatican city. If the vehicle should be taken outside these listed countries please obtain National Car Rental prior written consent. Some restrictions may apply with respect to- -loading the vehicle on trains, boats, ferries or similar means of transportation. -taking the vehicle from the mainland onto an island. -taking certain types of vehicles across borders. You are advised to check at the time of reservation.
American Express, Mastercard, Diners Club and Visa credit cards are accepted. Debit cards, cash payments, travelers cheques and euro cheques are not accepted. An international valid credit card is always required for the authorization which is determined by the total rental amount - or in case of pre-paid reservations the total amount of ancillaries purchased at time of pickup- plus a deposit amount according to the below -

cdw top cover - rental amount plus euro 200

these amounts will be held on the credit card until the vehicle is returned and the final rental charge is debited. Any charges for damages, fines, taxes, penalties and the related administration fees belonging to the rental period can also be debited from the credit card after the return of the vehicle.
National Car Rental provides 24/7 Breakdown and Assistance Service to the customer. This service is handled by ANWB Roadside Assistance. Further information specific to the Roadside Assistance, including the 24/7 assistance telephone number, will be provided at the time of rental. Roadside assistance is provided with the rental free of charge in case of mechanical breakdown, not due to driver negligence of willful misconduct.
National Car Rental Roadside Assistance PLUS protection option:
Roadside Assistance PLUS offers an additional cover for the call out costs* related to breakdowns caused by driver’s fault; flat tire, battery, lost keys or keys locked in the vehicle, out of fuel, refueling wrong type of fuel or tire exchange*.
*Excludes the eventual cost to repair the vehicle and of any travel cost to change the vehicle.
In order to benefit from this cover, Renter must make contact with the dedicated Breakdown and Assistance Service immediately after the occurrence of the incident. If the Renter does not contact the Breakdown and Assistance Service and if Renter initiates steps or make any disbursements without the prior consent, the Roadside Assistance PLUS coverage does not apply.
A basic break down service is included in your rental to cover call outs for mechanical faults and accidents.
Roadside Assistance PLUS fee: EUR 5.00/day excluding VAT
All drivers (including additional drivers) must hold and produce a driving license valid in the country where the rental takes place. The driving license must have been issued by authorised authorities at least 12 months before the date of the commencement of the rental. In addition to the normal driving license, an international driving license is also mandatory if the driving license is written in a language different to the one of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country or if the driving license is otherwise not valid in the European Union. An International driving license is valid only if accompanied by the normal driving license. Also a valid identity card or passport must be presented at time of rental. Note: Drivers license, valid identity card or passport and credit card needs to be in renters name (main driver).
All the vehicles in the National fleet are insured against bodily injury and property damage that you might inflict on a third party as a result of an accident involving the vehicle. The amounts for such liability cover are available on request. In particular, you must comply with the rule concerning permitted destinations, as set out in the article -use of the vehicle- above, in order to have the full benefit of the insurance provisions.
